Nelliyampathy is a hill station 60 kilometers from Palakkad, state of Kerala, India. It is surrounded by tea and coffee plantations. The village has its own gram panchayath and forms a part of the Chittur taluk. This is, of course, the main attraction only around which the others are situated. Visitors can enter the top of the dam through the left side of the gardens (North end), and walk along the dam until the end. There is an exit near the wind-mill to enter back to the gardens. Nature lovers walk till the end of the dam to reach "Kava", a scenic spot full of wonderful species of flora and fauna at the catchment area of the dam.
